Taraji Penda Henson is teaming up with Facebook Watch for a new talk show. 👏🏽

The new Facebook Watch talk show is expected to focus on mental health. The show will be co-hosted by Trace Jade Jenkins, who is her long time best friend. The show is part of the moves by the social media giant to support mental and emotional health.

Another trending show that Henson's series would be joining is Red Table Talk with Jada Pinkett-Smith and her family. 👀

Taraji is a popular American actress best known for playing strong female character roles. For instance, she played Katherine Johnson in America’s biographical drama, Hidden Figures. The fact that the real Katherine Johnson was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2015 shows how strong her female roles are. Many people even refer to her by her stage name, Cookie, which she got from the TV series, Empire.

The 50-year-old, who stunned in her thong bikini last month for her birthday, had this to say about the show: “I’ve long been a mental health advocate for the Black community and created the Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation in 2018 that has provided resources to thousands of people who are struggling.” Through interviews with experts, celebrities, and everyday people, the show will bring awareness to different mental health issues. This is a big step for Taraji, and we wish her great success.
