POP SMOKE'S TEAM SET A RELEASE DATE FOR POSTHUMOUS ALBUM

Pop Smoke's team has officially released the date for his second posthumous album on Wednesday. 🙌🏽

The album slated for release on July 16 was announced to the late pop star's fans via a short video clip.

"I always knew I was gonna be something great... You gotta make history." The 35-second clip begins with a quote from one of Pop Smoke's famous interviews.

The short video was a reflection of the life of Pop Smoke with photos of his high school graduation and some of his famous performances before a large crowd of people.

The July 16 release date of the album is four days shy of what would have been the 22nd birthday of the Pop-star. The album contained 17 tracks.

His first posthumous album, "Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon," was released July 2020 after his tragic death earlier last year.

Pop Smoke was killed during a robbery incident in his home on February 19, 2020, after allegedly shot by a 15-year old.
